We’ve all been there – you had a coffee too late in the day, or there was a really interesting program about wild herons in Western Africa on the discovery channel. Suddenly it’s 2am, and you have to wake up in four hours. Here’s how to energize yourself even if you didn’t get enough sleep. Please be advised, however, that sleep deprivation is not healthy, so don't make a habit of it and try to get at least 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night.

Good News for the Human Race.
There's war on the television, and the newspapers scream bloody murder. Taxes are up and wages are down. Everywhere you look it seems like people are convinced things are only going downhill. But here are a few facts most newspapers won't share with you. Not everything is going bad, some things in the world are actually getting much better than they used to be. I don't know about you, but it makes me feel much better about this planet I live on. Things aren't that bad after all...
